Closing of TheFarsider website has been
POSTPONED
for another month!
After talking to Leroy, and clearing out his email box, it appears some readers have been attempting to send some new information for the website. But because of the full mailbox, they were not being added. Slight oversight that has been corrected.
A donation was also received and greatly appreciated but the frequency of donations will have to pick up to keep ahead of the website and related costs. Please consider donating something…anything. No donation too small and all are appreciated – especially by me!
REMEMBER: If you want to keep the site up and running, please consider contributing some site related information for your fellow retirees to see. This website is a good way to keep in touch and see what everyone is doing in their retirement years and for those that have reached End of Watch as well.
Now you can see why Leroy is the Editor and I’m the minion that works behind the curtain keeping everything going. I’m not the best writer but hope I got my point across.

Leroy and Eric, sorry for not contributing, did so today. I will try to do so monthly. Thank you for doing this for so long, always good to hear what is going on. After retiring as Police Chief in small WA town my son and I started a non profit in 2005. It is called Camp Patriot. We take disabled Vets and First responders on outdoor adventures.
