The funeral arrangements have been made for Sgt Jim Guido.
It will take place at 10:30am on November 14, 2023,
at Saint Christophers Church,
2278 Booksin Ave. San Jose.
Immediately following a Celebration of Life will be held at the Three Flames Restaurant at 1547 Meridian Ave. San Jose.
Great person and co-worker.

Not a lot of the rank and file on SJPD had the opportunity to work with Jim. I could count them on two hands- and I am still in contact with several of them. I worked for Jim Guido and other fellow coppers for 5+ years in the 70s. As a copper coming from an enforcement background, it was a learning experience like no other. My personal experiences and horizons and growth thru a period of time evolved,and expanded . And that speaks specifically to Jim Guido who created our SJPD PAL program- Thank you Jim for bringing me on board and for the many (mostly) good memories. You were a good man, copper, and friend and father.. Thank you……RIP… Don Tietgens, 1327
