  1. Bob was my Lt. In Burglary, and I never had a better boss. Not only cared about the clearance rate and the other business aspects of burglary but the victims of these crimes, as well. He enjoyed hearing the details of his detectives’ investigations and relished the arrests of our brave canines, as they adapted to the new silent alarm response protocols. Bob routinely provided next-step guidance and was savvy about when a case could be made and when it just had to be shut down. And\ he was generous with his praise, and with the attaboy letters. Maybe his way with people came from the Navy, where he retired as a Master Chief (E-9). Great guy. God bless him.
