FROM HARRY MULLINS:
A few of you may wonder where am, or maybe not.  I am still home recovering from, my recent stoke like issues, while daily visits to various doctors trying find out what the hell is going on with my bio system. I still have double vision, balance and walking issues, chronic fatigue, low energy and let us not forget my train of thought often leaves the station without me.

More to come when I have good news and when it takes less than 40 minutes to write and correct 4 sentences.

13 Thoughts on “HANG IN OLD MAN, WE’RE WITH YOU!!!

  1. Holding you in our thoughts and prayers . Will always remember the code 30 you put out at the bar on monterey rd. You dumped guys in my car and off to the fair grounds. Take car Moon Mullians. Bob johnson, 1364

  2. Keep up the good fight, Harry. You’ve always been a warrior, and I know that you will come out of this. Our good thoughts and prayers are with you.

  3. Harry – You were my first and best FTO. You are as tough as nails, so I know you can beat this. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Ron Martinelli, #1854

  4. Hang in there Harry. I was close to where you are with a stroke in the medulla. Good physical terrorist and time. Hard work. Minimal residuals.
    Pulling for you!

  5. Harry,

I fondly recall the day you took over as “House Mouse” (House Manager) at the Chi Pi Sigma Fraternity House from me; to your final Mid Night Shift Briefing, when I was ordered to attend to make certain that no topless gal jumped out of a cake or similar transgressions took place. The Troops loved it when you produced a Boom Box and played, at full volume, “Take This Job and Shove It.”

You were always a “True Character,” one that made the SJPD a more enjoyable and productive place to spend a career.

Thank you for the years of shared friendship and brotherhood.

You have always been a fighter, so I am confident that you will beat these medical issues, that seem to catch up with us in our Senior Years.

Wishing you all the best and a quick recovery,

Dan Bullock #1311 and April Bullock #4266

  6. Get well soon Harry so you can get back to prowling the hills & back roads of Oregon. Who can forget the car stop where you walked up to the driver with a dagger clenched between your teeth or the time, speaking in a heavy German accent, you demanded “Papers, please”. Note to Bob “Smoky” Johnson…Moon was Fred Mullins…lateral from Tracy PD in the 60’s and SJPD motor officer in the 70’s & 80’s.

  7. My prayers are with and for you. May you fully recover and live healthy for another 50 years. Gotta live longer retired than your working years!

  8. Hang Tuff Harry, Always remember as a young swing shift patrol officer on the Eastside around mid 70’s. Typical weekend night when we were going to break up an over attended neighborhood party. It was going to be a “hats and bats” affair and Sgts Hawkes and O’day were running the show. LT Jim Bob Terry was newly assigned back to patrol and wanted to review the troops prior to going into battle. As we stood lined up, helmets on and nightsticks in hand, he walked down the line till he got to Harry who stood there proudly wearing his “viking helmet” complete with large bull horns sticking out the sides. Needless to say Jim Bob was speechless. Hakwes looked up from planning long enough to tell Harry to put on his real helmet. The whole line was cracking up, that’s how Harry operated. Remember Harry, Vikings are Tough”. Thanks for the memory.
