Remembering Ken Postier:
Hi Leroy, Steve Postier here. I need to convey some sad news to our brothers at the Farsider. My brother Ken aka “Boots” badge 1271 (age 83) passed away peacefully early this morning, Nov. 5th, after a short illness. He was at home with his wife, Louisa & son, Kevin at his side. He truly loved his time at the San Jose PD where he had many good friends. He worked in Patrol, in the Canine Unit with his dog Shep, as the Records Sergeant, in Burglary Prevention & lastly in Auto Theft as the acting Lieutenant. As per Ken’s wishes, there will be no funeral nor memorial service.

I got to know Ken as a good guy when he worked Auto Theft. I was an original member at the time of the Regional Auto Theft Task Force. (RATTF)
