Dick was one of the great ones. I rode with him as a rookie and was impressed with his professionalism and wit. I later worked with him in Sexual Assaults and he was just the best. My wife and I went with Dick, his wife and Preston Winters and his wife to a Stanford Football game and watched rising star John Elway at the helm. It was such a great outing. Gone too soon..
