Hi Leroy – Hope all is well. Attached is a new magazine article about my work and my Amazon International Best-Selling “Wade Justus Texas Ranger”  mystery/thriller series. Just a couple of errors in the article. I retired from law enforcement in 1997, not 1980. (Man that guy doesn’t look like he’s in his 80’s…). I’m also not yet “retired” but hope to be in a couple of years. For my Wade Justus fans, my 4th book in the series, “Force of Justus,” set back in Italy should be out by August.
I hope interested readers will visit our new website for autographed books at: www.wadejustus.com or ebooks and
paperbacks at Amazon.com.
Warm regards to the SJPD Family.

“Leroy, I’d like to take a moment and thank many of the SJPD supervisors, detectives and great street cops and mentors who took time to show me the ropes, including the great street cops I admired and gave me the motivation and support to keep moving forward, learning my trade. I certainly can’t name them all, but here are a few who stand out. Sgt. Glen Terry, Sgt. Joe Stewart, Sgt. Larry Darr, Sgt. Pete Graves, Lt. Bob Moir, Assistant Chief Stony Horton, Craig Buckout & Lew Smith, Walt Robinson, my old partner Les Nunes, Sgt. Mike Thompson, Sgt. Bob Browning, Sgt. Ed Escobar, Don Hale, Lynne Caro, Bert Caro, Sgt. Harry Mullins, Lt. Don Ewing, Carm Grande, Pete Salvi, Leroy Pyle and so many more.” I stand on all of their shoulders, great cops past and present. God bless you all for your professionalism, time, support and friendship. Ron Martinelli

And here we have our Sec/Treas of the association, Larry Lundberg (AKA Lumpy) normally generous to a fault and he won’t share some of his fishing and hunting pictures and adventures with us!
I snagged these off the internet! 🙂

The San Jose Police Emerald Society not only has generous corporate sponsors, we also have very generous individuals that support our cause. Larry Lundberg is one of those special people. Besides his generous cash donation, Larry also donated one of our playing card raffle items that always brings in top dollars. Thank you again Larry for your support, friendship, guidance, and unwavering generosity to the San Jose Police Emerald Society and the law enforcement community!
