Most of you have heard me discuss the cost of publishing TheFarsider.net: The cost of the site itself, the email app that sends the notification to 650+- subscribers. Spam detection, and a bunch of stuff that I don’t understand, but Eric does! Thankfully…
So, Eric recently notified of a recent update: “FYI, I’ve added a new protocol to the “thefarsider.net” website domain name called DNSSEC. Here’s what it’s all about:
“DNSSEC is a security protocol that adds an extra layer of protection to the DNS of a domain. It works by digitally signing DNS records to ensure they aren’t tampered with or forged during transit and helps verify the authenticity and integrity of the website and services connected to your domain.”
So, if you have a couple of bucks to spare to keep Eric from going broke and TheFarsider.net up and running, it would be greatly appreciated by all.
