Tonight six members of our chapter attended the benefit for the three injured officers from San Jose PD. Two officers were shot responding to a domestic violence report. Upon their arrival, a parolee refused their command to stop and quickly turned and opened fire on them. Striking one officer three times and the other officer once. both officers survived they were successful in shooting and seriously wounding the suspect. The Motor officer who recently retired and was the victim of a hit-and-run in San Jose is home and recovering. Pictured are the Blue Knights of chapter 22 donating $1000 to these officers. The gathering picture in the bar area shows the mayor, the chief of police and several city council people along with active and retired police officers. I’m pictured with the mother and father of the young officer who was shot three times. Their names are Heather and Jaime. Their son is in a skilled nursing facility undergoing rehabilitation. They stated he has a very positive attitude and can’t wait to get back on the job. God bless these young men. And thanks to my chapter for their generosity and support for the young officers, keeping us safe.

The journalist is called in first.
The journalist sits down and faces a panel of stern-faced interviewers…
They begin with questions about his experience, qualifications, and previous work.
Finally, the head interviewer, with a serious expression, asks, “How much is two plus two?”
The journalist furrows his brow, thinking deeply…
After a moment, he confidently responds, “Twenty-two?”
The interviewers exchange glances and thank him for his time, inviting the next candidate, the social worker, to enter the room…
The social worker takes a seat and is greeted with the same set of questions.
She answers each one with care, discussing her background, her approach to problem-solving, and her passion for helping others…
The interviewers seem impressed, but then they come to the final question: “How much is two plus two?”
The social worker pauses, reflecting on the question…
She finally replies, “I don’t know the answer, but I’m very glad that we had the opportunity to discuss it.”
The interviewers nod politely, thanking her for her thoughtful response, and usher her out.
Finally, it s the lawyer’s turn…
The lawyer strides in confidently and takes a seat.
He faces the same barrage of questions, responding with sharp, precise answers…
The interviewers are intrigued by his assertiveness and legal acumen.
Then comes the last question: “How much is two plus two?”
Leaning across the desk, the lawyer replies in a low voice…
“How much do you want it to be?”
