The San Jose Police Emerald Society, in keeping with its mission of “rendering support and keeping their memory alive”, is sponsoring a memorial for fallen SJPD Officer Robert White #2325, who was killed in the line of duty 40 years ago on January 27, 1985.

5:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Oak Hill Cemetery

Section R, Tier F, Lot 27

300 Curtner Avenue.

San Jose, CA 95125

There will be a short memorial reading and prayer. Attendees will be invited to say a few words, if they like. The service will close with the playing of Amazing Grace. Please arrive a few minutes early, as the service will start promptly at 5:00 PM.

  1. Keeping the Memory Alive is a great tribute. Thank-you Emerald Society. Bob and I went through the Police Academy together. There was a small group of us that were going through as Deputies, but were testing for SJPD. Bob soon hired after we graduated as he always wanted to be a San Jose Police Officer. RIP Bob and know the Department is in good hands.
