I close with my utmost appreciation and thank you to Brian Bennert and Curtis Jackson.
Brian ordered, picked up, delivered the monthly birthday cakes for the celebrating members over the years without exception.
He delivered the last cakes for this year and will be stepping aside.

Curtis willingly stepped up to take on the role of Vice President when the vacancy needed filling two years ago.
He provided input on issues of concern and was an asset in the management of the hall.
Again, thank you both for your efforts!

2 Thoughts on “Mattos Mail Bag!

  1. It was really wonderful to see information and pictures of the Farsider retirees. I was very close to just simply deleting myself because I was so tired of seeing all the political BS that fit that filled almost totally the Farsider publications. I hope that we can see more information about the retirees and their pictures and what they’re doing. Perhaps one could be profiled each publication. That would be really wonderful. Keep up the good work Joyce Taylor.

    1. I have tried to promote a “profile” section be didn’t get many takers. I thought it would be nice if old timers would show where they live now and maybe how many grandkids they had, with pictures, but didn’t get much response. Maybe you could start if up with a profile of yourself? BTW, see Kenn Christie’s remarks, below.
As far as political BS, I’ll have to admit that I lean a “little” to the right, but you’ll just have to put up with it. My newletter!!!
