This is a Must Read! In 1991, at the end of Dessert Storm, a 19 yr old US Army Cavalry Scout Private who has just spent 8 months at war sat out on a street at Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia. He sat there on his duffle bag with his Battalion around him for 4 days waiting for the buses to come and take him to the King Fahad Airport so he could go home. Unfortunately, the politicians of the day never planned for how to bring so many soldiers home after the war ended so there was a shortage of planes. Politicians are great at talking, but terrible at doing. Finally the buses came, and took the young man to the airport. The planes waiting were from Tower Air. The owner of Tower Air had volunteered his planes and staff to bring soldiers home for the cost of fuel only. Happily the young veteran got home just in time for Easter weekend in 1991, and spent that time emotionally healing with friends and family surrounding him. That Private was me. The Airline owner -Donald J. Trump. That is why will vote Trump. Loyalty for loyalty, respect for Any questions?

12 Legends of the Old West: How Did They Really Die?

The most iconic photograph from every decade

In the mid-1820s, French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce stood at an upstairs window of his estate in Saint-Loup-de-Varennes in Burgundy, France. In his hand he held a primitive camera. After at least eight hours of exposure, Niépce created the world’s first — or at least oldest surviving — photograph, known as “View From the Window at Le Gras.” In that moment, an entirely new medium was born.

“First Flight,” 1903

On the morning of December 17, 1903, on the sand dunes 4 miles south of the fishing village of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, one of the most pivotal moments in human history was captured on camera. Once developed, the photo showed the moment that aviation pioneer Orville Wright took to the air in the world’s first successful airplane.

How Did Salt and Pepper Become the Two Most Common Seasonings?

Spices have been central to human history since antiquity, influencing trade routes and economies along the way. But despite the rich array of flavors that have traveled the world, salt and pepper have emerged as the most popular seasonings in the Western world. Salt, an essential mineral, was once coveted for food preservation; pepper, a spice derived from dried peppercorn plant berries, used to be worth its weight in gold. Their popularity and ubiquitous inseparability have even led to their names being used as an adjective, as in “salt-and-pepper” hair. Here’s a look at how necessity, global trade, and culinary innovation helped salt and pepper become the two most common food seasonings. FULL STORY HERE

DOJ official caught on video calling Trump prosecution ‘a travesty of justice’

CV NEWS FEED // A spokesman for a Department of Justice (DOJ) office stated in an undercover video that Democratic New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of former President Donald Trump is “nonsense” and a politically motivated effort at the behest of “the Democrats.”

In addition, Nicholas Biase acknowledged that Bragg’s prosecution – which resulted in Trump’s May 30 conviction on 34 counts of falsifying business records – is backfiring on Democrats.

Biase is the chief spokesman for the U.S Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York – a jurisdiction that covers Manhattan, the Bronx, and six suburban counties in upstate New York.

An undercover journalist from the independent media source MugClub told Biase: “Those felonies did nothing to stop Trump from running.”

“No, in fact they made him more relevant,” the DOJ spokesman replied.

“Did that backfire?” the journalist asked.

The prosecution is “a perversion of justice,” Biase continued. “[Bragg] was stacking charges and rearranging things just to make it fit a case. No, to be honest with you, I think the case is nonsense.”

Using an expletive, Biase likened state-level prosecutors such as Bragg’s to the Wild West: “They’re like idiots. They don’t care. They’re all political.”

Biase went on to say that Bragg is “probably going to try to lock [Trump] up.”

“They’re so obsessed with getting him,” Biase continued.

“Who is they?” the journalist asked.

“The Democrats,” Biase replied. He explained that he has personally known Bragg, who used to work in his office, for 15 years.

The spokesman implied that Bragg, his “very ambitious” former colleague, may have decided to prosecute Trump to increase his name recognition and pave the way for a potential future bid for higher office, such as New York City mayor.

“Before [Bragg] decided to prosecute Trump, did you know who he was?” Biase said. “You do now.”

The spokesman said he’s “not sure what [Bragg] wants to be, but I know he’s not happy just being the DA of New York County.”

Referring to Trump, Biase indicated that “every real estate person in New York does what he did. Nobody’s ever been charged with this.”

The undercover journalist asked the DOJ official: “What was the point of even doing it then?” She was referring to Bragg’s prosecution of Trump.

“To make him a convict,” Biase replied. “A convicted felon.”

“I think it’s called lawfare,” the journalist said.

“Yes,” Biase responded, agreeing with her assessment. “That is what they call it.”

When the journalist asked Biase about the ongoing Georgia election interference case against Trump, he called it “a travesty of justice.”

“To put it mildly, it’s a mockery of justice,” he continued, calling Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis “a joke.”

“The whole thing is disgusting,” he added. “They’re just out to get him.”

RFK Jr. blows Tucker Carlson’s mind; says what NO politician will admit

The Biden administration has never been a fan of political dissidents, and RFK Jr. is living proof.

“Thirty-seven hours after he took the oath of office, President Biden’s White House opened up a portal for the FBI to begin to have access to social media posts on all the different social media sites,” RFK explained in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

“The FBI then invited in the CIA, DHS, the IRS, and CISA. CISA is this new agency that is the center of the censorship industrial complex that is in charge, making sure Americans don’t hear things that their government doesn’t want them to hear.”

Those agencies, as well as agencies like the CDC, were given access to social media sites to change posts and shadow-ban users.

“I lost my Instagram account; I had almost a million followers. They say it was for ‘misinformation,’ but they could not point to a single post that I ever made that was factually erroneous,” RFK explains.

In emails, Facebook was recorded pushing back and saying RFK wasn’t factually incorrect, so they had to come up with a new word for what RFK was doing.

“Malinformation, which is information that is factually true but nevertheless inconvenient for the government,” he says, to which Tucker responds, “That’s illegal.”

“The White House was overtly telling them that if they didn’t comply, that their Section 230 immunity was in jeopardy,” RFK adds.

Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” isn’t surprised but is disturbed.

“It should be noted that even if RFK Jr., with his 1 million followers on Instagram, was sharing misinformation,” Rubin says, “it’s not illegal.”

“It would be against the First Amendment,” he adds.

A vote for Harris is a vote for more wars

Dick Cheney’s endorsement of Kamala Harris makes this election’s stakes plain as day.

A vote for her is a vote for the neocons.

In accepting the Cheney endorsement, Harris made clear that if America is going to revive the Bush-Cheney era of endless wars and foreign interventions, she’ll be the one to lead the charge.

Does that sound like America’s best path forward? A return to permanent Washington’s most disastrous experiment? Tulsi Gabbard doesn’t think so, and she joined last night’s Tucker Carlson Live in Colorado Springs, Colorado to discuss the neocons’ lust for nuclear war, the 2024 election, why she’s being spied on by Joe Biden’s secret police, and more. Tulsi Gabbard tells Tucker:“[Kamala Harris’s] response to the Dick Cheney endorsement today was that she was ‘honored’… It sickened me to read those words both from Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, and Kamala Harris because we have people who we care very much about who were killed in those wars because of Dick Cheney. Kamala Harris has told us all we need to know about what kind of commander-in-chief she would be.”

NEVER FORGET!!!

2 Thoughts on “091224

  1. Just a word of caution. The Tower Air story about Trump volunteering his aircraft and crew to return military from overseas deployment is not true. As some research showed, this is a fairly old, fabricated story. Trump never owned that airline, nor did he arrange for return flights for these personnel. Nonetheless, it won’t change who I vote for, for many reasons.

  2. Mendacity noted from above:

Tower Air not involved in Trump Story. Tower Air went out of business. Tower Air was best known for one of its mothballed 747’s being used as a movie prop in the third act at the end of the Jim Carey Movie LIAR LIAR.

The TRUMP airline used by the military to return stranded reservists of a TOW rocket unit based in Florida from their deployment in Saudi Arabia was a Trump charter Airline chartered by the military for the last leg of the flight.
A member of the unit snapped a picture glad and grateful to finally be getting home from war. Few soldiers at the time even knew who businessman/future President Trump was.

Nor did yours truly, who was a reservist US ARMY MP MPI locally when that war broke out.
