SJPD Arrests Three Suspects for Furnishing Alcohol to Minors
San Jose Police Department NoReply@sanjoseca.govSJPD Arrests Three Suspects for Furnishing Alcohol to Minors
MEDIA ADVISORY
On August 7, 2024, the San José Police Department arrested three suspects in the city of San José for furnishing alcoholic beverages to minors.
SJPD conducted a Shoulder Tap operation which targets adults who purchase alcohol for persons under the age of 21. A minor under the direct supervision of law enforcement stands outside of a liquor or convenience store and asks customers to buy them alcohol. The minor also indicates they are underage and cannot purchase the alcohol.
If an adult agrees to purchase for the underage person, they can be arrested and cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor. The penalty is a minimum $1,000 fine and 24 hours of community service.
“We conduct these operations to keep alcohol out of the hands of our youth,” said Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Director Joseph McCullough. “By preventing underage drinking we can increase the quality of life in our communities and reduce DUIs.”
Statistics have shown that young people under the age of 21 have a much higher risk of being involved in a crash than older drivers. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), about 25 percent of fatal crashes involve underage drinking.
Funding for this program was provided by a grant from the ABC Alcohol Policing Partnership (APP) program.
This project is part of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control’s Minor Decoy/Shoulder Tap Grant Project, funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Fifty years later, the truth about Watergate comes out
Fifty years ago today, Richard Nixon became the only U.S. president in history to resign from office.
Now, newly-unearthed documents show that Watergate was a scam from start to finish.
We already knew enough to raise suspicions, including:
- All of the Watergate burglars were connected to the CIA
- Bob Woodward, the reporter who broke the story, was an intelligence officer who became a journalist mere months before breaking the Watergate scandal
- Deep Throat, the anonymous man who leaked the Watergate scandal to Woodward, was revealed to be Deputy Director of the FBI Mark Felt
Shepard not only proves that Watergate was a set-up, but he also explains how the deep state is using the same playbook against Donald Trump.
Click the image below to watch the eye-opening discussion:
Geoff Shepard tells Tucker:
“I’ve uncovered what was simply not known. [The Watergate break-in] is not what sunk Richard Nixon. What sunk Richard Nixon was hugely biased lawfare, the perversion of the criminal justice system designed to drive Nixon from office, to void his re-election, and to imprison his top aides.”
Stolen Valor Matters
First things first: Kamala Harris wasn’t going to win the military vote even if she’d put a real warrior on the ticket.
That she instead opted for a lying dirtbag, valor-thieving fraud like Tampon Timmy Walz merely reinforces what our warrior class already knows: The woke Democrat Party loathes them, and they only invoke our military out of pure political expedience.
To those of us who’ve served, stolen valor is a serious thing, a thing worth fighting about. Typically, it comes in the form of some two-beers blowhard in the bar who says, “You were in the Marines? I was too. I was Force Recon.” (Anyone else out there wish you had a dollar for every clown who told you he “almost” “joined” “the SEALs”?)
But it’s different when we’re talking about our elected representatives. After all, these are the people whom our Constitution entrusts to vote us into war. Which is why Walz should’ve known better than to spin yarns among the American people that he wouldn’t have dared to utter in any E-Club on any base in any remote corner of our nation.
We might laugh at Eddie Murphy’s “Agent Orange” character in “Trading Places.” We might bust a gut when he says he was “special unit battalion’s commando airborne tactics specialist tactics unit battalion,” and that it was “real hush-hush.” But Tim Walz’s lies are no laughing matter, and they’re no longer hush-hush. And he won’t be able to run away from them forever.
Yesterday, we focused mainly on how Walz ditched his National Guard unit right before it deployed. But a Marine Corps brother, JD Vance, has rightly latched onto the matter of stolen valor. Here’s what he said in the Detroit suburb of Macomb County, the home of the Reagan Democrats:
[Walz] said — and he was making a point about gun control — that we shouldn’t allow weapons that [he] used in war to be on America’s streets. Well, I wonder, Tim Walz, when were you ever in war? What was this weapon that you carried into war, given that you abandoned your unit right before they went to Iraq, and he has not spent a day in a combat zone? What bothers me about Tim Walz is the stolen valor garbage. … I’d be ashamed if I were him and I lied about my military service like he did.
[Checks notes: Any day now, mainstream media. Any day.]
To be fair, and as our Mark Alexander pointed out yesterday, Walz did serve with the Nebraska and Minnesota Army National Guard. But at some point, he must’ve realized the Minnesota Guard isn’t exactly the 82nd Airborne. Which was a mistake made out of obvious insecurity, because all military service, whether in the Guard or the Reserves or on active duty, and whether in admin or logistics or infantry, is honorable.
So when Walz said during a gun-grabbing rant, “We can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is [sic] the only place where those weapons are at,” he was lying.
And it wasn’t his only lie. As The Washington Free Beacon reports: “As a first-time congressional candidate in 2006, Walz’s campaign announcement described him as ‘a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom,’ an archived version of the press release shows. Two years earlier … Walz organized a protest against then-President George W. Bush [and carried] a sign reading ‘Enduring Freedom Veterans for Kerry.’”
How appropriate. Tim Walz and John Kerry. Two peas in a stolen-valor pod: Walz with his Walter Mitty-ism, and Kerry with his improbable haul of Purple Hearts and his duplicitous claims of having spent “Christmas in Cambodia.”
As the Free Beacon adds: “Two Minnesota National Guardsmen said in 2022 that Walz falsely claimed he reached the rank of command sergeant major. But Walz did not fulfill the duties required to maintain that rank before he quit the service in 2005.”
Stolen valor is deadly serious stuff. Admiral Mike Boorda, an enlisted man who rose through the ranks to become the U.S. Navy’s Chief of Operations, committed suicide over a matter of stolen valor.
For Walz, these are, at the very least, disqualifying lies. After all, he aspires to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Of course, as we noted yesterday, Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal has gotten away with it, so perhaps the thinking goes, Why not me?
In any case, what must the Harris campaign have been thinking when it vetted this guy?
Editor’s note: Beginning to sound just like some of our democratic led cities!!!UK Unrest: What’s Contributing to the Chaos?
A lack of information regarding senseless child murder has led residents to start filling in the blanks.
England, like the rest of Europe, has been struggling mightily under a wave of mass migration. Many of the migrants arrive in small boats under cover of darkness from France — in other words, illegally. This has become a major source of frustration among the British people. In fact, voters were so frustrated with conservative lawmakers failing to stem the flood of illegal immigration that they recently elected the Labour Party in protest.
In Southport, the demographic change has been rather drastic. Over the course of 20 years, the foreign-born population has grown from 4% to roughly 10%. This is a big shift considering Southport is a smaller city on the northwest coast. Southport’s experience with rising migration is small potatoes compared to major city centers like London. However, it’s the backdrop to the events that unfolded next.
On July 29, little girls gathered at a dance studio in Southport to participate in a Taylor Swift-themed workshop. A male teen, Axel Rudakubana, entered the studio with a knife and proceeded to stab 13 people, mostly children. Despite the heroic efforts of the dance teachers to shield the children, three were mortally wounded. Their names were Bebe King (6), Elsie Dot Stancombe (7), and Alice Dasilva Aguiar (9). When a police officer showed up, he didn’t arrest the alleged murderer right away because he only had a baton. He had to wait until better-armed police showed up to arrest the killer.
Information has been slow to reach the public. During the assault, Rudakubana was only a handful of days away from 18 and thus an adult in the eyes of the law. What motivated his attack? It was this lack of information that led residents to start filling in the blanks.
Rudakubana is the son of Rwandan immigrants who came to the UK some 20 years ago. Could the attack be motivated by Islamic beliefs? After all, there has been a string of such attacks, as mass migration and lack of assimilation have caused a major clash of cultures.
The UK isn’t alone in such attacks. In June, Germany also had an incident in which a knife-wielding Islamist attacked a group protesting against mass immigration (which most of the press has characterized as “anti-Muslim”).
Because the UK attack bore the hallmarks of similar assaults, and because the police weren’t forthcoming with a motive, rumors began to swirl. The first round of riots by a fed-up Southport broke out on August 1. Southport may have been the catalyst, but several other cities in the UK followed suit. They were terrible and targeted Muslim-owned businesses, mosques, and immigration housing. Media sources dubbed these rioters “far-right” extremists.
What is of note, however, is that riots started up again a few days after, and this time it was not the “far-right” extremists that were gathering to cause mischief. Instead, it was hordes of mask-wearing Muslims that were on the attack. The “far-right” trolls on social media were listing off locations that they were going to meet to start rioting again. Muslim counterprotestors showed up, but no one was there for them to fight, so they attacked whoever was available: White people trying to enjoy a pint at a pub. TV news reporters just trying to do their job.
In response to the various riots, Prime Minister Keir Starme said:
People in this country have a right to be safe and yet we’ve seen Muslim communities targeted, attacks on mosques, other minority communities singled out, Nazi salutes in the street, attacks on the police, and wanton violence. So no, I won’t shy away from calling it what it is: far-right thuggery. To those who feel targeted because of the colour of your skin or your faith, I know how frightening this must be. I want you to know that this violent mob does not represent our country, and we will bring them to justice.
However, as arrests have mounted, there seems to be two-tiered justice being doled out. Hundreds have been arrested for the violent right-wing rioting. But the Islamic protestors? Not so much. Conservative commentator Ian Haworth makes this point:
The stage was set as a result of a mainstream refusal to speak the truth about the impacts of unfettered immigration (amounting to cultural suicide), which created a vacuum that was happily filled by extremists. After deplorable and yet inevitable violence broke out, only one side of a two-sided problem is being criticized. Fear and arrogance have created a racially segregated response to violence, which only fuels the accusations of “two-tier policing” at the root of initial protests.
The craziest aspect of this whole affair is that information is still not forthcoming about why these murders were committed by a teenaged boy. The atmosphere that years of poor governance has created, the fear of being called racist for calling out bad behavior or illegal action, and the slow-walking of information to the public all contributed to the chaos that is now unfolding.
Justice has been made impossible to determine. What is also being lost is the mourning of families in a community devastated by senseless murder.
