Longtime NFL Referee, Two-Time Super Bowl Official Dead At 76n n

nBill Leavy, who spent 20 seasons as an NFL official and who led the Super Bowl XL crew as the referee, died Tuesday, according to Football Zebras .nnLeavy turned 76 on Saturday. No details have yet been reported about the cause of his passing.nnLeavy retired following the 2014 season and proceeded to spend each of the past eight years in a supervising role with the officiating department. San Jose police union office manager charged with importing, distributing fentanyln

nSAN JOSE – A long-time office manager for the San Jose Police Officers Association allegedly used her work computer to order controlled substances from abroad, including an analog version of fentanyl, and distributed the drugs from her office, according to a federal criminal complaint.nnJoanne Marian Segovia, executive director of the SJPOA since 2003, is charged with attempting to unlawfully import valeryl fentanyl, a synthetic opioid. If convicted, she faces up to 20 years in prison.nnFiled in U.S. District Court on Monday, the 13-page complaint contends that Segovia, 64, was arrested as part of an ongoing Homeland Security investigation into a network that was shipping controlled substances to the Bay Area from abroad.
