30 Of The Funniest Outdoor Signs From This Vet Clinic That Dad Joke Lovers Will Appreciate

n

There’s nothing fun about driving to your local veterinary clinic. It’s a miserable place for your pet and a nerve-wracking challenge for yourself.

Until you see an outdoor sign that makes you burst into laughter. Who knew that some vets are full-blown stand-up comedians? In fact, one vet clinic in Carroll County could easily compete in a comedy central battle. Don’t believe me? Check out the hilarious outdoor signs they’ve been putting up for three years now. Beware! Some of the pawsome jokes, corny puns, and wisdom nuggets may leave you in stitches.

n

After you’re done reading this one, don’t forget to check out Bored Panda’s previous two compilations of hilarious vet signs here and here.

nnnGlobalization worth reading !nnnGlobalization????nnA definition of globalization that I can understand and to which I now can relate:nnQuestion: What is the truest definition of Globalization? Answer: PrincessDiana’s death.nnQuestion:How come?n

Answer: An English Princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, riding in a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky, (check the bottle before you Challenge the spelling), followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines.

n

This is sent to you by a Canadian, using American Bill Gates’ technology, and you’re probably reading this on your computer, or phone that uses Taiwanese chips, and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian truck drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexicans Who are in the US Illegally!

The old man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink.

n

He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife.

n

He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife.He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering.

n

Obviously they were thinking, ‘That poor old couple – all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.’

n

As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine – they were used to sharing everything.

n

People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn’t eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink..

n

Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said ‘No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.’

n

Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked ‘What is it you are waiting for?

nShe answered “THE TEETH”

nnMANY SUBSCRIBERS MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT I HAVE A LIKING FOR DOGS AND PAY SPECIAL NOTICE WHEN SOMEONE NOTIFIES OF THE PASSING OF THER BELOVED PET.nnI AM NOT ALONE, OF COURSE, AND THERE ARE MANY GRAPHICS USEDnTO DISPLAY THOSE FEELINGS:nnI lived in Hawaii as a kid and this became a favorite song after I lost my collie, “Lassie” when shenran in front of a mild truck in NHA#3.nnIn 1988, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole called the recording studio at 3am and said he had to record a song right away. 15 minutes later, Israel arrived at the studio. The studio owner, Milan Bertosa said, “And in walks the largest human being I had seen in my life.” A security guard gave the 500 pounds man a large steel chair to sit on. Milan said, “Then I put up some microphones, do a quick sound check, roll tape, and the first thing he does is ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow.’ He played and sang, one take, and it was over.”nn

nnAND…….If you wondered how this all came up, I had collected a number of doc pics for this Farsidernand here we go starting with my own very favorite, “Gigi”.nnn

nnnWHY DOGS LIVE LESS THAN HUMAN!!!n

Here’s the surprising answer of a 6 year old child.nBeing a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.nI examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn’t do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.nAs we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.nThe next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker‘s family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.nThe little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker’s Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs’ lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, ”I know why.”nStartled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I’d never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.nHe said, ”People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?” The six-year-old continued,n”Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do.”nLive simply.nLove generously.nCare deeply.nSpeak kindly.nRemember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:n• When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them.n• Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.n• Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.n• Take naps.n• Stretch before rising.n• Run, romp, and play daily.n• Thrive on attention and let people touch you.n• Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.n• On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.n• On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.n• When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.n• Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.n• Be faithful.n• Never pretend to be something you’re not.n• If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.n• When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.nThat’s the secret of happiness that we can learn from a good dog.
