This morning before noon Ron passed away. The pain has ended. On behalf of his family, Mike, John and myself, we want to thank everyone for your wonderful responses. You may not realize just how much they mean.
n
There will be no service. Ron has requested he be cremated and his ashes spread on the property he loved so much.
n
Again, calls not requested at this time. God bless you all.

(EARLIER) From Pete Salvi:

nnAs I grow older, I find life a bit more difficult. The most difficult is saying goodbye to friends. I am sad to report that our brother Ron Mozley has terminal cancer and is in hospice at his home. Ron is a very private person and has kept his illness from his family and friends.n

This past Sunday, three of his good friends, Mike Fehr, John Kensit and myself, trekked to Northern Idaho to say one last goodbye. Ron is heavily sedated with morphine but through head and hand movements knew we were there. We held hands and prayed to God to welcome his humble servant into his kingdom. For a few hours we told stories and laughed and cried.
n
A special thank you to Bill Wells who lives about 90 minutes away and has been an immense help.
n
Will post additional information as received.
