nIt is with sincere regret that I must inform you that this will be the last issue of The Farsider, Musings, whatever.

I’ll be turning 80 years old next month and it gives one pause to thought.

I’m sure many of you have reached that anniversary and can relate

I will miss sharing the “glue” that holds us retirees together. I will not forget. You will be remembered and missed.

I will especially miss the latest effort to include many of you in the creation of the pages:n

nnThe 5-6 hours of 4-6 days I spend creating the weekly can best be spent with the wife and grandkids (if I can catch up with them. The wife is quick!)nnThe criticism from the Chaplain over the Halloween graphic, the harsh response to The Farsider in a PBA president’s message, and now a lack of contact/cooperation of the PBA Board has been disheartening. It is weird, as a matter of fact, and I shouldn’t be expected to perform for an organization without the support of the Board of Directors. Disheartening, as a matter of fact. And I won’t. nnI am confident that the BOD will find a replacement to communicate with the membership. There may be a difference in that it may be just an email or even a professional publication like the POA. The big difference with a professional publication is that it won’t be free! 🙂nn
